Extremely functional – this lamp has 2 locking pivots, 1 on the base and 1 behind the shade so the light is easy to direct. Since this lamp can extend out 9” towards the pianist, your hands and sheet music can be illuminated while the lampshade adjustment keeps the light out of your eyes.
